Snaptrude Raises $14M Series A from Existing Investors
We've raised a $14M Series A funding, led by Foundamental and participation from Accel, with both funds renewing their confidence after their shared $6.6M Seed investment into Snaptrude less than a year ago.
The Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry is responsible for over $10 trillion of economic value and is experiencing significant expansion due to urbanization and population expansion. Some estimates suggest we need to build an average of 13,000 residential and non-residential buildings per day to support the growing urban population.
That said, navigating from design to construction has traditionally been a labyrinthic process, with professionals having to rely on at least five disconnected, outdated tools developed in the 90s that have seen little to no innovation over the past decade.
The persistent use of these old, fragmented tools poses a significant challenge to productivity, stifling innovation and the shift towards efficient and sustainable construction—a change our current decade urgently requires.
Understanding the magnitude of this industry problem, we're excited to announce we've raised a $14M Series A funding, led by Foundamental and participation from Accel, with both funds renewing their confidence after their shared $6.6M Seed investment into Snaptrude less than a year ago.
Alongside our recent fundraising, we’re thrilled to announce the Sketch to BIM workflows, making Snaptrude a powerful, browser-based, collaborative conceptual design tool that introduces a fresh and efficient approach to design:Design Faster: Intelligent automation and parametric modeling help you speed up the design process for projects of all scales.
Design Smarter: Leverage BIM data to control costs and design sustainably. Gather real time insights from automated BoQs, site topography, and more.
Design Together: Plan, design, and visualize with the entire project team from concept to construction. Share models and document communication in real time.
Design with Other Tools: Snaptrude leverages the power of BIM to work with other tools. Import from Revit (and Autocad, SketchUp, or Rhino). Export directly into Revit without any data loss.
We’re seeing strong signals of early growth – Snaptrude works with over 15 global companies, including WeWork, Layton Construction, and Accenture – and plan to use the Series A funds to grow our Product & Engineering teams and strengthen our position in the market, helping architects build better buildings, together.
