Introducing Program: Architectural Programming Made Simple

What's in this post?
If you’ve followed from our last post, you’ll know we hinted towards a new and improved Snaptrude experience that's been in the works.
Today, we are excited to announce our launch of “program”.
Now, we never set out to reinvent architectural programming. But once we saw how frustrating it was for architects to juggle spreadsheets and design tools, we knew there had to be a better way.
Two years ago, we built a feature called Program Import- and it changed everything. Architects jumped on it, using it to start nearly all of their projects in Snaptrude. Their success inspired us to think bigger: Why can’t the creation, editing, and iteration of the program be just as smooth and intuitive as the design itself?
So we set out to do the seemingly obvious (but for some reason treated as impossible): we built an Excel-like interface directly into Snaptrude. Not just for basic tweaks, but to let you create and modify your entire program in real-time. Every row, every formula, everything, talks directly to your 3D design. The result? No more final_final_v8.xlsx. Just a live, evolving spreadsheet that you control.
But it didn’t stop there. We realized tabular data isn’t just for programming; it’s a door to endless possibilities. Which is why we’re launching Tables, the new home for all kinds of structured information inside Snaptrude. It’s the same simplicity you expect in a spreadsheet, now wired to your architectural model.
Then there’s the future-facing part: AI. Everybody’s talking about how artificial intelligence can handle structured data like a wizard. We put that wizard to work in Tables, so you can quickly generate or refine your program with an AI co-pilot. It’s a glimpse of where things are headed, and we want you to come along for the ride.
At Snaptrude, we don’t just solve single problems. We build foundations. Tables might look like a spreadsheet, but it’s really it’s own environment- flexible, powerful, and ready to shape the next wave of AEC innovation.
We’re excited to share this with you. If you want to see what the future looks like, sign up for early access below and experience it for yourself. We think you’ll love it.
