Go from Snaptrude to Revit and back, without any rework.

Import Revit models, make changes. Export back to Revit without any data loss.

The 15-story commercial office building was conceptualized in Snaptrude, and then exported to Revit for schematic design and documentation. Explore the fidelity of the models on both tools, and their editable parametric BIM objects like walls and floors. When you’re ready, download the Snaptrude Manager to try exporting it on your own.

Snaptrude + Revit for Real-Time Teamwork

Break design silos by collaborating on models with stakeholders. Minimize delays and revisions, while speeding up project completion timelines for a more efficient overall workflow.

Move back and forth, efficiently

Avoid rework and wasted time by moving effortlessly between concept and schematic design.

Collaborate with others

Leverage Snaptrude’s cloud-based collaboration capabilities to iterate, review and sync changes across the different platforms with ease.

High fidelity to ensure seamless transfer of objects and families.

The exported models from both Snaptrude and Revit retain important geometry and object data, providing a strong basis for further design.

Directly Modify System Families

Edit standard walls, floors, ceilings, and other system families natively in Snaptrude

Use Custom Families via RFAs

Import custom doors, windows, and furniture families via RFAs with lossless metadata transfer.

Maintain Material Fidelity

Material textures are preserved when moving models between Snaptrude and Revit, keeping your designs presentation ready.

How it works

The Snaptrude Manager

The Snaptrude Manager plugin is a dedicated bridge between Snaptrude and Revit, built directly into Revit itself. It handles user authentication, export of Revit models to Snaptrude, and reconciliation of changes back to the Revit model.

Exporting custom objects via RFAs

This feature simplifies the process of transferring data, making it much more efficient. Simply open the RFA file within your Revit project and use Snaptrude manager to upload the RFA into a Snaptrude project. A new UI for RFA import ensures a smoother, more seamless workflow between Revit and Snaptrude, ultimately saving you time and effort.
